Supporting Hawaii’s Future Dentist

The Hawaii Dental association Foundation, Inc. will provide scholarships to individuals seeking or currently enrolled in higher education programs, connected to oral health. Such programs that qualify are Dental School, Dental Specialty Programs. The scholarship is specifically for low-income students that have a passion for oral health. Our scholarships will be determined annually. The initial award amount is set from $1000 to $4000. The award must be used specifically for education costs (i.e. tuition, programs fees, books, etc.)

Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA overall in all course work in college program. Applicant must complete a minimum of 10 hours of community service during the last academic year. College transcripts must be submitted, letter of recommendation, letter of college/program acceptance, and write a one to two page personal statement about what inspired the applicant to want a career in oral healthcare.
